HEKATECH - GEOCOEUR

Hekatech, a young and impactful company from Moselle, has taken on the challenge of saving lives by developing and marketing Géocoeur! This connected device, which won the Lépine Competition in 2022, is installed above defibrillators and alerts passersby when a cardiac arrest occurs nearby. By connecting directly with emergency services, Géocoeur aims to drastically increase the use of defibrillators before emergency responders arrive.
Today, 80% of cardiac arrests happen at home, and less than 10% of victims receive a defibrillator shock before help arrives.
With Géocoeur, we aim to increase defibrillator use and save many lives.
