The French Lighting Association (AFE) promotes a culture of lighting that serves human well-being, is energy-efficient, and environmentally respectful. It undertakes public-interest missions in the areas of health and environmental monitoring, standardization, education, and training. The AFE is dedicated to gathering, explaining, and disseminating lighting knowledge and expertise. Through its 15 regional centers, it is familiar with the daily challenges faced by elected officials and professionals and is able to address the unique needs of each situation by providing its independent expertise.
