QISTA has designed a sustainable solution for mosquito control and prevention against mosquitoes that can transmit vector-borne diseases. QISTA has already installed over 13,000 traps in more than 36 countries.
The scientifically proven solution reduces mosquito bites by up to 88%. The technology disperses recycled CO₂ to mimic human breathing (at a level equivalent to that exhaled by a human being) which attracts female mosquitoes. At the same time it diffuses an olfactory lure to simulate body odor to draw the mosquito closer. The trap then captures it by suction. The method is selective: other insect species are not attracted and continue to play their role in their environment.
