La Poste is a public limited company, a subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts and the French State. La Poste group is organised into 4 sectors : Services- Post- Parcels, Retail & Digital, Geopost and La Banque Postale, which together with its subsidiary CNP Assurances forms La Poste. The group distributes more than 15 billion items a year worldwide (letters, printed advertising matter, parcels), 6 days a week. In 2023, La Poste group generated turnover of 34.1 billion €, 44% of which was generated outside France. Committed to it's territorial presence, the group has 17,700 postal outlets in France. It's also present in 60 countries on 5 continents. On a daily basis, its local presence is reflected in the 160 professions practised by its 233,000 employees, including more than 179,000 in France.
