The mission of CIBI is to sustainably foster a synergy between stakeholders in real estate, urban space design and management, and environmental services to create a vibrant, adaptable, and livable city, by promoting biodiversity and encouraging the development of spaces and buildings that support life.
To achieve this, CIBI focuses on:
• Raising awareness among stakeholders to highlight the biodiversity challenges at the design, construction, and operational phases
• Facilitating exchanges between stakeholders and promoting innovations
• Certifying projects committed to preserving urban biodiversity through the BiodiverCity labels: construction (renovation, new), life (operation), and ready (neighborhood).

• Ecological engineering, revegetation and nature in towns and cities
• Biodiversity and protection of wildlands: woodland, coastline, mountains, landscapes and gardens
• Renovation-rehabilitation-reconversion of urban sites, wasteland and buildings
