Since 2015, Sfil, a public development bank, has been the leading financier of the local public sector with its partners La Banque Postale and La Banque des Territoires, with more than 50 billion euros in loans distributed since its creation. A strategic subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts, Sfil provides the public sector with financing conditions over long maturities, at a competitive cost. Its position as an intermediary between investors engaged in the financial markets and local public stakeholders has enabled the refinancing of 21,000 long-term loans to local authorities. Sfil supports the challenges of the ecological transition and social cohesion of the territories with its range of green and social loans which finance a wide variety of projects contributing to this.
