ESS FRANCE

ESS France, or the French Chamber of the Social and Solidarity Economy, is the voice of the SSE (Social and Solidarity Economy) in France. It represents and advocates for the interests of SSE businesses and organizations. It brings together national SSE organizations that represent the multiple legal forms of the SSE, the regional SSE Chambers, and any SSE networks that wish to participate in its activities.

Established in every region, the Regional Chambers of the Social and Solidarity Economy (CRESS) unite SSE businesses and networks to promote, develop, and represent their business model at local level. Recognized by the 2014 SSE Law, they are federated under their national umbrella organisation, ESS France.
