AFIE

Since 1979, AFIE has been made up of professionals working in the applied ecology sector within design offices, local authorities, state services, public establishments, research laboratories, higher education establishments, NGOs and businesses.
AFIE aims to promote cutting-edge skills and know-how in ecological engineering with a view to taking into account the challenges of preserving French natural heritage in all sectors of activity.
AFIE has two main objectives:
– promote the consideration of ecological laws in land use planning and management of natural environments
– promote the profession of ecologist and professionalism in the environment

• Research and conservation of species and areas (protected areas)
• Protection of natural spaces and environments (aquatic environments, forests, coastlines, wetlands, mountains, etc.)
• Protection of endangered species, habitats and migratory routes
