TERRITOIRE DE CULTURE

Territoire de Culture is an association that awards the Territoire de Culture Recognitions and Prizes. The Recognitions are awarded for 3 years and the Prizes are awarded each year to a winner in each category.
We reward any clear, ambitious and recent cultural policy initiated by a local authority. This cultural policy must have been put in place recently or be being rapidly and concretely implemented. The Committee will take into account the following initiatives: cultural actions and mediation, holding cultural events, highlighting local assets, promoting the regional language or twinning for cultural purposes, etc. These actions must enhance the influence and value of the area and ensure that culture is accessible to as many people as possible.
