Périgueux : Contrôle d'accès du secteur sauvegardé de la Ville

  • Roads: equipment and services
  • Securing spaces and places: fire, alarm, access, health and safety risk plan
  • Connected systems and smart infrastructures, IoT

Contexte

The City of Périgueux (23) has set up a protected area to preserve the historic heritage of its old town centre. It launched a public contract in 2022, which we won, to equip itself with automatic retractable bollards to control access. BES worked with the contracting authority on the desired functions and the positioning of the equipment on the roadway. In all, more than 20 Citeco retractable bollards, 10 Sitaccess totems linked to centralised technical supervision software, and 16 fixed bollards now secure the old town centre.

Acteurs

To manage access, we have equipped the city with : - Video intercom systems to enable occasional users with no means of control to identify themselves, - RFID badge readers with coded keypads, - GSM receivers to enable remote controls or mobile phones to be used as badges, - an emergency opening device for firefighters, - a 3G/4G link for transmitting information between the terminals and the management and supervision software we have installed.
