Biodiversity and ecological engineering exhibition
THE NATURE AT THE HEART OF A REGION’S ADAPTATION

Nature remains the best ally human societies have in tackling climate change. Solutions through nature’ are an essential and privileged lever for adapting to a changing climate.
This exhibition, held in conjunction with the Salon des Maires et des Collectivités, is organised in partnership with the AMF, Les Eco Maires and the Union Professionnelle du Génie écologique (UPGE), a key sector for all human activities aimed at repairing, protecting or renaturating living spaces in the face of climate and ecological realities.
Protecting biodiveristy is a major challenge

Biodiversity is under threat:
Urban expansion, intensive agriculture, deforestation, pollution…

The restoration, preservation and protection of biodiversity and living things are now fully identified as major challenges in the same way as the climate.

Biodiversity is the subject of international negotiations (COP – Convention of Parties) which commit countries to targets and trajectories for the protection of biodiversity.
With substantial investments

In 2023, the European Parliament and
French government respectively passed
a law on Nature Restoration and set
out a 2030 Biodiversity Strategy at
national level…

These commitments bring funding for biodiversity at European level up to €100 billion by 2027 and increase the amount of investments for water and biodiversity by €1.2 billion in France.

Legal obligations are introduced to incorporate biodiversity into infrastructure and real estate projects, thereby promoting sustainable building practices.
Why participate ?
Held jointly with the Salon des Maires
To Foster proximity and facilitate relations with the regional stakeholders among exhibitors and visitors at the Salon des Maires et des Collectivités
To Promote sharing of experiences, good practice and collaboration between stakeholders involved in crossdisciplinary
topics (environment, construction, regional
cohesion, mobility….).
Key players in preserving biodiversity
The event that brings together the broadest array of professionals for whom biodiversity is, or is becoming, a high-priority issue (regional authorities, design consultancies, associations, wildlife managers, developers…).
A dedicated exhibition space and programme
A lively exhibition designed for demonstration purposes (photography exhibitions, machines, hands-on experiences, models… ).
A series of conferences and themed workshops under the supervision of an editorial board.
At the heart of the exhibition, at the entrance to Pavilion 3
