Vis ta ville The School
An innovative and inclusive school as a factor of social and regional development

Schools are experiencing a number of changes that question schooling and to which professionals from the education community, including local authorities, are making a commitment.
This area therefore aims to illustrate and approach underlying trends over the long term which affect school organisation:
- School buildings and regeneration of areas within the school in order to improve socialisation among pupils and time spent in schools, but also address environmental transition requirements (school renovations, new school building techniques…)
- Structuring classes as an essential aspect of renewing teaching models which place pupils at the heart of learning, make them participants and combine more fun and educational methods for active efficiency
- The development of green playgrounds (‘oasis playgrounds’) in light of the realities of climate change but also for the choice of equipment conducive to sporting and cultural stimulation, that should be primarily inclusive
- Greater awareness of the school ‘space’ in towns with awareness-raising initiatives about beneficial lifestyles and practices for pupils and families (‘car-free streets’, the development of ‘walking bus’ initiatives, road safety starting at school, official ‘Knowing how to exercise, ride, swim’ programmes…)
- And of course, constant attention to digital equipment in school aimed at improving education and learning in view of the fact that society, teachers and pupils are increasingly ‘connected’
