LA NEF

La Nef is a citizen-owned banking cooperative founded in 1988 that exclusively finances ecological, social, and cultural projects with complete transparency. It is the only French financial institution that publishes a complete list of the projects it finances each year. The cooperative advocates for a short money cycle: it does not engage in speculative activity on the financial markets and only finances the real economy.

As a specialized credit institution, La Nef is approved by the Bank of France and supervised by the ACPR (Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution). La Nef is certified as a socially responsible company (ESUS).
