The Ministry of Sports, Youth and the Voluntary Sector draws up and implements government policy on the promotion, organization and access to physical activity and sport. As such, it is responsible for developing sport and high-level sport. It is also responsible for preparing bids to host major sporting events and for organizing these events. It also draws up and implements policy in favor of young people and the development of community life. To this end, it oversees the development of young people's commitment, their mobility and their personal and civic development, and the effectiveness of the action taken by the civic service agency.
