FEDERATION NATIONALE DES CHASSEURS

The Fédération Nationale des Chasseurs, an association approved for environmental protection, is responsible for promoting and defending hunting, as well as representing hunting interests with national and European authorities. It represents departemental and regional hunting federations at the national level, and coordinates their actions (biodiversity, management of large game damage to crops, safety, nature education, etc.). Hunting brings together more than 5 million people in France, including 1 million annual practitioners. With nearly 70 000 hunting associations, 94 departemental federations and 13 regional federations, hunting is one of the most organized rural networks in France.
