COMMUNES FORESTIERES FRANCE

Founded in 1933, with over 6,000 members, Communes forestières France is a federation, an association under the 1901 law, of municipalities and communities working for the general interest. It constitutes a political and technical network that relies on the expertise of its elected officials and employees to promote forests and the forest-timber sector. The federation empowers elected officials to act for sustainable and multifunctional management (balance between economic, environmental, and social functions) of forests by training them and implementing innovative programs on all forestry issues.
