The Francophone Network of Age-Friendly Cities

Created in 2012, the Francophone Network of Age-friendly cities (FNAFC) is an independent and general interest association, affiliated to the World Health Organisation (WHO) Global Network for Age-friendly Cities and Communities (GNAFCC). It is the only organization officially affiliated to the GNAFCC in France. The FNAFC is a resources centre full of expertise on how to accompany territories to deal with the issues of aging. Its aim is to promote and develop the Age-Friendly Cities Approach at a francophone level in order to encourage representatives to take into account the issues linked to the demographic transition in their policies.
