SINALLAGMA
Vegetated Canopies – “Châtenay” Vegetated Canopy
Climate change adaptation is a challenge for all local authorities. Cities experience—and will continue to experience—heat waves, worsened by their configuration and mineral surfaces. Where it is not possible to plant trees (e.g., constrained underground), Sinallagma offers an innovative solution combining a wooden structure with a covering plant canopy. The model presented here is a rectangular, modular chestnut canopy.
