Contexte
A solution has been found to actively and creatively educate and raise awareness about air quality: the LIFE V-aiR project was launched in 2022 to develop and deploy two virtual reality tools:
• A serious game for decision-makers, to help them discover actions and policies tailored to their territories.
• An escape game for the general public, to encourage behavioral change.
LIFE V-aiR aims to reach thousands of decision-makers and citizens in pilot regions in France, Spain, and Romania, as well as in many other areas where the project will be replicated.

The project is led by ATMO Grand Est and involves the partners: •ABMEE – the Agency of Brasov for the Management of Energy and Environment •Atmo Bourgogne-Franche-Comté •Atmo Hauts-de-France •Atmo Nouvelle-Aquitaine •Atmo Normandie •Madininair •University Marie et Louis Pasteur •University of Málaga With a total budget of €1.3 million, the project is 60% funded by the European Union's LIFE programme and co-funded by the Grand Est Region, the City of La Rochelle, the Greater Poitiers Municipality, the Normandy Region, the Normandy Regional Health Agency and the project partners.
