Decarbonised Mobility visit guide

Mobility is a core concern of local residents

Salon des Maires - Atmosphère Mobilités décarbonées

Transport and mobility are among the most used essential services on a daily basis. Irrespective of whether they involve public transport or road infrastructures designed for individual mobility, enabling everyone to get around is a major issue. Mobility today is at the crossroads of significant environmental, climate and social challenges. A period of inflation has put pressure on households and made mobility expenditure even more burdensome.

In the long term, the inevitable route towards decarbonisation in the transport sector will lead to a complete overhaul in our means of transport and local authorities – right through to the most granular regional level – must introduce alternatives and lean solutions to facilitate mobility for all and to allow people to choose and combine methods of transport suited to their needs and realities.
