Boldness is local

For its 2026 edition, the Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Locales will be held under the banner of boldness and territorial innovation.

“Boldness is local” embodies a strong conviction: faced with major societal challenges and constrained budgets, it is within the territories that ideas and solutions emerge to reinvent models.

It also represents :

    • The creativity and capacity for action of elected officials and local authorities in addressing contemporary challenges.
    • The cooperation between mayors, institutional partners, businesses, and associations to bring inspiring projects to life.
    • The strength of local initiatives across all sectors: housing, health, mobility, culture, nature, education, digital technology, security…

A Story of Rootedness and Renewal

Each edition resonates with the concrete issues faced by municipalities, metropolises, intercommunal bodies, departments, and regions.

In 2026, the exhibition is renewing itself to be even more practical, inspiring, and connected to real-world needs.
