After an extreme weather or natural event, rescue forces and municipal teams in charge of the Local Resiliency Plan are on the front line. Orange presents the S.O.S. Bag, a compact and autonomous telecom emergency device that allows immediate communication in emergency situations when no other network or power source is available on site. The solution can be deployed in 10 minutes, thus preventing the isolation of the affected area.

The S.O.S. Bag has been subjected to numerous tests with the actors involved in crisis management, both at the national and municipal levels, and provides an unprecedented response adapted to all situations thanks to its compactness, energy autonomy, ease of deployment, and ability to be easily transported. The use of the S.O.S. Bag in Mayotte, for 3 weeks following Cyclone Chido, confirmed its relevance in extreme situations.
