Contexte
L'Atelier du Dôme designs modular, demountable housing made from French wood, locally manufactured and quickly assembled. The spherical shape reduces material use and energy needs. Aimed at local authorities and social housing providers, our domes offer an ecological, economical and reversible solution to the housing crisis, particularly suited to families and the demand for social housing.
Acteurs
L'Atelier du Dôme is a cooperative company bringing together a team of carpenters, architects, engineers and trainers. We would like to work in partnership with local authorities, social housing providers, and the CEREMA for technical studies. Our know-how is also disseminated through publishers such as Ulmer, and supported by a network of local associations.
