Contexte
MASIPRO is part of a solutions being designed by SNCF to develop collective transportation in suburban and rural areas.
In a context of lack of drivers, the objective is to benefit from technologies of automated driving to offer wide service hours and a perfect adaptation to communities needs.
As a performant and attractive transportation system, MASIPRO stands out of robotaxis which came to reality in the USA and in China, offering individual moblity, not in line with the objectives of substainable development and urban congestion.

City council of Carquefou is in support of the project.
Partners of the consortium : Renault Group, KEOLIS, beti, and research institutes VEDECOM and RAILENIUM.
