Contexte
Among the species targeted by the PNA for odonates, the white-faced darter is a major conservation issue for regional biodiversity. The PNA aims to identify the breeding sites of white-faced darters that have no conservation measures in place and to work to protect them. This action has identified several forest lagoons in the municipality of Hourtin as essential for the conservation of the species. In 2017, the municipality of Hourtin and the SIAEBVELG volunteered to implement conservation measures on 11 municipal lagoons.
Acteurs
The Town Hall of Hourtin, the Intercommunal Water Management Union for the Gironde Coastal Lagoons Watershed (SIAEBVELG), the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Conservatory of Natural Areas, the Adour-Garonne Water Agency, and the Department of Gironde.
