Trame blanche urbaine de Lille

  • Restoring ecological and territorial continuity (blue, green and black grids)

Contexte

The city of Lille has committed to combating noise pollution by defining quiet zones. It is a member of the WHO Healthy Cities initiative, whose program encourages cities to take action to improve the health of their residents. Lille wanted to embark on an innovative approach combining further studies of ecological networks and analysis of urban soundscapes in order to define a soundscape that is favorable to biodiversity and residents.
The aim is to maintain and restore ecological continuity, taking into account various disturbances, and to propose an action plan.
