L'aller vers contre la précarité énergétique : la médiation énergie à domicile
- Energy efficiency and saving: smart grid, fuel poverty
Contexte
Today, more than 10% of the population faces energy poverty, and nearly 5 million homes are classified as 'energy sieves.' Our project aims to tackle this issue by supporting vulnerable households in better managing their energy consumption. In collaboration with local authorities and housing providers, it combines home visits, eco-gesture workshops, and local energy mediation — a human-centered and innovative approach that promotes autonomy, prevents unpaid bills, and strengthens social cohesion.
Acteurs
The project brings together several complementary stakeholders:
Our association, an expert in social and energy mediation.
Sarthe Habitat, the partner social housing organization, identifies households in difficulty and funds home visits.
The Department of Sarthe coordinates the program at the territorial level and finances collective awareness-raising activities.
Local partners (CCAS, associations, social networks) help identify and support vulnerable groups.
