Carrefour de l'Entrepreneuriat La Réunion Ouest
- Regional departments, economic development, support for innovation
Contexte
In the neighborhoods of Réunion Island, aspiring entrepreneurs face persistent barriers: lack of clarity around support systems, fragmented actors, limited access to assistance, and a digital divide. The Western Réunion Entrepreneurship Hub addresses these challenges through a unique, free, and collaborative one-stop shop. Bringing together seven public and private partners in a local space, this model streamlines pathways, pools expertise, and co-develops tailored solutions with strong territorial roots and shared governance.
Acteurs
The Western Entrepreneurship Hub is led by Initiative Réunion and brings together seven partners: the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), the Chamber of Trades and Crafts (CMA), France Active, Rézo Run, Coop Union, Créa Académy, and the City of Le Port. It was structured through a call for projects launched by Bpifrance. Bpifrance supports the initiative with a focus on territorial innovation and economic inclusion.
The local authority plays a driving role by providing a space located in a priority urban neighborhood (QPV) and mobilizing its services to strengthen territorial impact.
