Contexte
The Esplanade des Gascons in Anglet embodies a new generation of low-carbon and sovereign urban developments. By combining Materrup MCC1® clay-based concrete, soil de-sealing, and urban greening, the project cuts its carbon footprint by half, promotes multi-local reindustrialization, and strengthens the industrial sovereignty of territories.
Acteurs
The City of Anglet, in collaboration with the industrial company Materrup — a low-carbon cement producer — and all actors across the value chain:
Toponymy / Keima Ingénierie: urban design and project management;
Duhalde BTP: production of low-carbon concrete using Materrup cement and on-site delivery;
Eurovia: execution of construction works and application of the low-carbon concrete.
