Skwheel – Une nouvelle pratique sportive inspirée du ski
Contexte
Skwheel is the world's first electric ski, designed to create a new gliding sport that can be practiced year-round without relying on snow. Built on years of R&D and 5 patents, it recreates the key sensations and movements of skiing, engaging balance, coordination, edge control and similar muscle groups. Co-developed with professional ski champions, Skwheel can be used on a variety of terrains, from mountains to urban and coastal environments.
Acteurs
Skwheel is developing this new sport with stakeholders from the sports and territorial ecosystems. The product was co-developed with professional ski champions to reproduce the key sensations and movements of skiing. Ski resort managers have also helped explore how it can be integrated into existing terrains and infrastructures. While the mountains are a natural starting point, our ambition is to develop the practice everywhere: in cities, coastal areas and rural territories.
